Some sessions just hit different—and this one was one of them.

Photographing Eva Grace’s senior session felt so full circle for me. Her family has been close to ours for years, so stepping into this sweet season with them was incredibly special. Getting to celebrate the end of one chapter and the beginning of the next is always a privilege, but when it’s someone you’ve watched grow up? There’s just something sacred about it.

We started Eva Grace’s session at Furman University. They had never been there before, but trusted me to lead the way—and it couldn’t have been a more beautiful backdrop. The spring light was soft and golden, the greens were rich and full, and the blooms were showing off in the best way. Every corner felt like a frame just waiting to be filled.

After that, we headed to Hillcrest High—her home for the last four years. Walking those halls, passing the lockers and classrooms where so many memories live, gave the session this quiet sense of nostalgia. It felt right to end the session there, grounded in the place that’s shaped so much of who she is.
